The World Game, and the people behind it.

The World Game helps children and adults express themselves in a language they do not need to speak, and equips professionals to hear and understand the signals.

  • The World Game trainings are the only ones in the world recognised by Stichting Beelddenken Nederland, guardian of the legacy of Maria Krabbe and Dr. P.C. (Nel) Ojemann.
  • The Expert Wereldspel training is accredited by SKJ under number SKJ217937 for 52.50 points.

What we do

Institute Kind in Beeld trains education and care professionals to work with the World Game. All affiliated and qualified professionals are included in our register. We want every child to be seen, heard and understood.

Our trainings are given in the Netherlands, Denmark and internationally by recognised, qualified trainers.

A century of research

From H.G. Wells and Margaret Löwenfeld to today’s universities: the World Game has been shaped by generations of researchers.

Institute Kind in Beeld

Institute Kind in Beeld is a national educational organisation and educational publisher in the Netherlands (a member of the MEVW), with a network of independent professionals. We research, develop and publish effective learning methods and materials, and run specialised training for care and education professionals, and for young people in primary, secondary and vocational education.

Our methods and materials are also available through school suppliers including Heutink and De Rolf Groep. We are glad of this bundling of forces, which gives visual learning and working a broader base in education.
